“Our Mauli always guided us about strong family values and respect for older people. Traditionally, people in old age would start drifting away from worldly bindings and begin looking for spiritual fulfilment. With spiritual guidance, the elderly prepare themselves for a smoother journey to the higher abode. Our charity and our volunteers relate deeply to the importance of the aged in our lives and will always uphold that respect towards the elderly in our communities.”
Growing older can sometimes bring feelings of isolation, especially for those living far from extended family or adjusting to life in a new country. Our volunteers bridge that gap by offering regular visits, companionship, and practical support — from help with groceries to assistance with appointments.
We also create opportunities for the elderly to participate actively in our community events, ensuring that festivals, celebrations, and spiritual gatherings are inclusive and welcoming for all ages. Whether it is sharing stories, practising yoga together, or simply sitting down for a cup of tea, every gesture of care affirms the dignity and value of our elders.
